SN Ranch News - Annual Branding Day  Branding day - June 14, 2004 - dawned cool and sunny on the SN Ranch... friends and neighbours arrived between 6:30 and 7:00 to start the gather. This involved a ride over about a section of grassland where 400 Beef Booster cow-calf pairs were rounded up and moved a short distance east into the branding corrals.  The
herd was sorted quickly with the actual branding commencing by about 8
am. The helpers enjoyed a delicious lunch mid-way through right at the
corrals. After the branding was complete, the crew headed up to the main
SN Ranch House where Chili, cornbread, salads and desserts were ready.
It was a fun, productive day with a nice combination of work and much
