Circle 6 Ranch Getaway - Where the Country Never Ends

Come on out to the Circle 6 - our working cattle ranch - and stay in one of our cozy western or country-themed private self-catered houses. Bring your own horse or ride one of ours. We're smack-dab in the middle of the Porcupine Hills of Southern Alberta. Country with wide open space! Grassland that stretches for miles. Reserve space for one of our special Cattle Drive packages.

Hike through the hills and observe the abundant wildlife, birds native grass and wild flowers. Stroll along one of our springs, creeks or ponds. Fish for trout. Picnic on top of a high ridge and look out over magnificent hills, prairies and the Rocky Mountains where you can see for miles.

In the spring, experience new life on the ranch. If you're lucky, you could watch a new calf being born. It's still exciting - even to us after many years as ranchers. In the horse herd, you might see a new foal. There may be baby kittens... or other kitties a bit older so you can cuddle them! Cross country skiing or tobagganning are winter options.

At the end of the day, join us at a campfire/fireplace on scheduled evenings and sing-a-long with our own singing cowboy. Or you may wish to enjoy the privacy of your own quiet little house and cozy up with a good book in front of your wood-burning fireplace.

Circle 6 Ranch Getaway is the ideal place for scrapbookers, ladies' weekends, couples or families. Musicians, artists or writers might find the solitude and spectacular foothills ranch country appealling. Small family reunions welcome as well.
